Vitamin B Injections

Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that is not produced in the body. It is mainly found in animal products such as fish, meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy. It is a water-soluble vitamin which means it is not stored in the body and must be replenished regularly.

You may experience a small bruise or soreness at the injection site, which is normal and goes away within a few days. Pink or orange urine 1-2 days post treatment is normal. The more depleted you are, the faster your body will go through the nutrients. Patients generally start by coming in twice a week, at the beginning of their treatment. After you begin to see an improvement in symptoms, it is recommended to come in weekly or twice a month.

Common signs to look out for Vitamin B deficiency include lethargy, headache, depression, irritability, weakness, fatigue, nerve pain, moodiness, cognitive decline, or tremors.
