What is RADIESSE?
RADIESSE, or RADIESSES+ (with Lidocaine), is made with calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres that, when injected, provide instant volume addition to the face. In the end, your body absorbs the microspheres, leaving behind only natural new collagen and fibroblast fibers.
After RADIESSE injection, collagen production slowly increases, and wrinkles, fine lines, and folds start to smooth out. In addition to the rapid volume addition and filling outcomes, you will continue to observe skin texture changes for several months.

How does RADIESSE smooth and contour?
RADIESSE is particularly well-known for treating facial lines and wrinkles in both men and women. It improve jawline contour and has long-lasting results.
Once integrated into the soft tissue, CaHA particles in RADIESSE form a scaffold that stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. In addition, it has a volumizing impact on the midface and cheeks. The high density of collagen and elastin provides long-term structural support stimulating the body’s own natural processes to promote renewed skin structure and contours.
What areas can RADIESSE improve?
RADIESSE is FDA approved treatment for HIV-related facial lipoatrophy. In addition, it can be a non-surgical alternative to plastic surgery procedures such as non-surgical rhinoplasty, jaw contouring, non-surgical chin augmentation, and correction of hollow temples and neck bands. Over time aging process and loss of collagen in hands can cause the skin to appear thin and wrinkled, displaying unattractive tendons and veins. RADIESSE is FDA approved treatment for hand.

Radiesse injections: what to expect?
You will be given aftercare instructions following your treatment. You should avoid alcohol and stay out of the sun during the first 24 to 48 hours, but most activities can be resumed immediately. You might have bruising and swelling, which will disappear in a week or so. Most mild complications can be resolved with immediate at-home treatment, such as massaging the injection sites and alternately applying ice.
