Looking for fuller lashes that make your eyes pop?

Try Latisse!

Latisse is an FDA-approved prescription medication used to promote the growth of eyelashes. Latisse can be purchased at our office after a consultation with our medical provider to determine if you are a good candidate.

How do I

apply Latisse?

Latisse comes in kits that include 3ml or 5ml bottles of medication and disposable applicators. Please avoid applying it on your lower lid or bottom lashes, and do not use it as an eye drop. The best practice is to apply it once a day, typically in the evening, and be consistent with it for the best results. Alternatively, you can add a few drops of Latisse solution to your mascara and store the remaining for later use. Typically, Latisse should last you 3-4 months.

What should I

expect after using Latisse?

It may take up to 8-16 weeks for some people to see the full effect of Latisse, while others may notice results in as little as four weeks. Once you achieve your desired lash length, it is recommended to continue using Latisse at least a few times a week to maintain its benefits.

Are there any

side effects of using Latisse?

It’s important to note that Latisse may cause a few side effects such as eye redness, itching, dryness of the eye, darkening of the eyelid skin, and infrequent changes in the color of the iris. However, at Essential Aesthetics, we will provide you with proper guidance on how to use Latisse to minimize any potential risks.

If you experience any side effects, you can stop using the product for a few weeks to a month and the side effects will disappear.

Am I a good

candidate for Latisse?

If you are pregnant or nursing or below 18 years of age, we strongly advise not to use Latisse. It is a prescription-only drug. If you wear contact lenses, it is recommended to remove them before using Latisse.

Are there any

Alternatives to buying Latisse?

Eyelash Serums: Consider using over-the-counter eyelash serums that contain ingredients like peptides, biotin, and hyaluronic acid. These can help nourish and promote eyelash growth.

Castor Oil: This product can help moisturize and strengthen your eyelashes. Use a clean mascara wand or a cotton swab to gently apply the serum or oil to your lashes before bedtime.
