RF Microneedling

Simple, comfortable, and effective, microneedling treatments have become one of Danville’s favorite options for versatile skin rejuvenation. At Essential Aesthetics, we use radiofrequency (RF)-assisted microneedling called VoluDerm to stimulate and promote the regeneration of collagen and elastin fibers in the deeper dermis, encouraging the skin to clear away any common aesthetic concerns.

This treatment works by activating the body’s natural healing processes by applying RF-assisted thermal ultra-thin electrode ablation, creating microchannels to induce controlled micro-wounds, thus encouraging the generation of healthy skin. With RF-assisted microneedling, we are able to pick from an array of disposable tips depending on the skin being treated. Unlike other microneedling devices on the market, VoluDerm™ does not puncture the skin. Each tip holds the thinnest electrodes on the market to induce controlled micro-wounds and thermal damage. TriFractional™ energy is also used to heat the skin, causing coagulation in the blood, achieving skin resurfacing and regeneration of the tissue.

VoluDerm™ and TriFractional™ are used as a combination therapy technique that reaches multiple layers of the skin, resulting in skin resurfacing and regeneration as well as wrinkle reduction. The best part is that this treatment creates long-term results.
