What is a Sculptra Butt Lift?

Are you looking to achieve the perfect buttocks but don’t want to undergo excisional procedures or liposuction? Essential Aesthetics is one of the first exclusive medical spas in the East Bay Area to offer Sculptra and Radiesses as a buttock enhancement filler.

What is Sculptra?

Unlike other dermal fillers, which are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), Sculptra is made of Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA). PLLA is a collagen stimulator that works deep within the dermis to help revitalize collagen production and restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.

How Does Sculptra Buttocks Augmentation Work?

If you have noticed your buttocks becoming saggier and losing firmness, no matter how many squats you do in the gym, our Sculptra treatment may be the answer. It can also be used to treat “hip dip,” which is referred to as the dip between the hip and thigh bones, which becomes more defined when there is low-fat volume present. Hip dip is often more prominent in those with less body fat. When injected into the buttocks, Sculptra adds volume and definition while highlighting your natural contours.

Am I a Candidate

If you don’t have enough excess fat in a donor region to undergo fat transfer as part of a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), Sculptra is an excellent option for you. Ideal candidates are in good overall health, can maintain a stable, healthy weight, would like to improve the shape and fullness of their buttocks, and are willing to commit to multiple treatment sessions.

The popularity of Sculptra in the buttocks region has grown and it is used to enhance the desired shape of the buttocks without having to go under the knife.

How Much Sculptra Do I Need?

The amount of Sculptra each individual needs depends on several factors. This includes the shape, contour, laxity, flatness, and desired prominence of the buttocks.

Does Sculptra Help with the Appearance of Cellulite?

Sculptra helps to fill dimples and cellulite to make your skin smooth and correct superficial imperfections. Since Sculptra works to promote collagen formation and boost skin volume and structure, the diluted injectable helps to fill and smooth out skin depressions and dimples.

What to Expect With Sculptra Butt Lift Injections

Expert injector Ellie Zarnegar, PA, DMSc,  will begin by discussing your goals and assessing your areas of concern. She will then mark the treatment area while you stand and map out the injection sites. Since Sculptra is mixed with lidocaine, a topical anesthetic is not necessary.

During the procedure, Ellie Zarnegar, PA, DMSc,  will ask you to stand or lay down on your stomach to ensure volume is being added to the treated areas. Once all the Sculptra is placed in the treatment area, a radiofrequency (RF) massage will be used for a few minutes to help evenly distribute the product. You will notice an immediate improvement in the appearance of your buttocks after treatment. We will give you aftercare instructions that include exercises and massages for the treated areas to ensure optimal results.

Each treatment typically takes 30–45 minutes. Patients usually need 3–4 treatment sessions spaced at 4-6-week intervals to achieve their optimal outcome. Results and duration vary between patients but are said to last up to 5 years.
